We’re still alive…

by Chad on October 26, 2010

We’ve been gone a long time, no doubt about that. We’ve been silent quite awhile, no doubt about that either. A lot of emails have asked us :
Are you out of business?

Why no blog posts?

What happened to you guys?

I still love your Chai, but why don’t you love me anymore?

We want to answer those and more really quickly. 1) No. We’re..uh..restructuring. ;)

2) Because it’s best not to say anything if you have nothing to say.

3) We’ve been battling bears in the wilderness and keeping their massive numbers from infiltrating our cities, stealing our Chai and going to theater’s to watch Inception and attacking people when they realize that they don’t have the brain power to figure out what was really going on.

4) We do love you. As a matter of fact, we just sent forty-eight letters to you in the mail talking about our undying love for you even though we truly are a bit jealous that you love our Chai more than us and by us I mean me right now.

Other than that, we’re working hard on permits and other crazy governmental paperwork that we barely understand. It takes us about two weeks to figure out some of this stuff. And other than that, just be ready for big announcements in the next six months.

And for those who KEEP emailing us about Vegan Chai — Yes, we are still working on it. Yes, we know it sounds stupid and you keep questioning why it’s taking so long. It’s not easy making amazing drinks that make you fall in love with us and our drinks. And blame it on bears, they keep stealing our ingredients. That’s why we’ve been fighting them in the wilderness…We’ll come back as soon as we are ready to announce something great or have something to say.

Every Other Week?!

by Chad on August 15, 2010

Yeah, the title says it all. We’re now moving our blog to an every other week debut. Why? Because we’re busy making the best Chai in the Universe for all the addicts out there. Not good enough a reason? Okay, then because making Chai isn’t the only thing we do; we also fight bears and that takes a lot out of us, sometimes too much, so we don’t have the time to write our amazing blog like we planned on doing every week. And also, our customers always come first and demand is up. Word on the street is that more people want it in the stores they go to more often. To do this, we have to plan, set things in motion and make sure it all falls into place. There’s a lot of writing in the word that will lead to a whole lot of nothing, and sometimes, it’s just better to quit talking and start doing. Problem is…we have to make sure our permits are all set and everything is ready to go. Phase two is in motion, but right now we’re just trudging up that hill first. Don’t worry, we’ll bring everyone along for every bump in the ride. We promise!

Oh yeah, and we’d like to thank all of you who have sent in the emails about all the stuff we’ve talked about in the past but haven’t been able to produce yet. We’ve answered all of you but to repeat ourselves one more time, we are hard at work on all of that stuff. It’s just not quite ready yet….and we’re pretty positive you’ll all be happy when it is.

Answering Honestly

August 4, 2010

I felt that since I hadn’t written a blog post for so long (blame it on traveling, talking to people across the state about our product and a new baby girl) that I’d post something that I had recently emailed to someone with a question due to the appropriateness of being honest with everyone about [...]

Putting Real Money Where Our Mouth Is

July 11, 2010

So, we’ve received about a dozen emails from people talking about using silver to buy our Chai. To most people this seems a bit extreme, but to me it makes sense. I’m going to bring you along with me to understand this whole idea a lot more thoroughly in a moment, but first open by [...]

The War List – First up: High Fructose Corn Syrup

June 29, 2010

We like to fight. And by fight, we mean things that destroy culture and our way of life. Bears fall into that category because they tend to try and kill us. But also certain ingredients fall into that category also. High Fructose Corn Syrup is one of them. So let me explain why our war [...]

1% Charity Program

June 17, 2010

Charity. What does it mean to most people? To be honest, we don’t care what it means to most people, because we started this business and we can give to whatever charity we want to. It didn’t matter if we didn’t make money initially or not, because charity is always a good thing. It helps [...]

The Future…

June 10, 2010

What’s in the pipeline you ask? All kinds of amazing things. Remember the shirt I said we were going to produce but never did. Well, we ran into some issues on our supply lines on that. The art is done and ready. We just need to connect the dots on our side. It will [...]

Professional Experience not wanted…

May 28, 2010

I don’t like polished. I don’t like perfect. I don’t like the robotic expression of most business. It’s not natural and it doesn’t personalize what you do and how you do it. People, customers, guests, whatever you want to call them, are human and want that human effort to be there at the end of [...]

Q & A Session

May 23, 2010

Q & A Session
Here were some great and interesting questions I’ve been receiving in my email lately, so I thought I’d post them up with my answers to them :
Q: I recently tried your Chai. Awesome stuff. But why is it so spicy? I really would love to have some that isn’t so spicy.
A: Thanks. [...]

Update on the Daring Theft.

May 13, 2010

I know we’re still in tough times. Maybe the thief that stole our chai had a pregnant wife whose baby needs our delicious beverage to gestate big and strong, so I like to say that as a man with a worldly point of view, I understand what the thief might be going through. That is, before [...]
